Just like any other type of rogue, it aims to gain profit from innocent PC users for asking fine to unlock the screen. Worse, even in safe mode the virus can still take over the entire screen for keeping protection from antivirus. This ransomware can send spam, spread malware or launch distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks, which will seek to bring down a targeted computer by overloading it with countless bogus requests.
